I'm absolutely overjoyed and blessed to announce that three aspiring school owners have taken the plunge to open their own schools. This journey has been incredible, and I am thrilled to be part of it.

Our Mission: 1000 Strong

When I started this newsletter, my goal was to help 1000 people across our great states gain access to the WIOA grant. While that remains the mission, something unexpected and wonderful happened. Many of you reached out with dreams of opening your own schools. After just 10 conversations, 3 of you said yes, and now, I find myself running a coaching program!

New community on the Skool platform

Introducing the TSS Community

I've established a private community for our school owners on the user-friendly Skool platform. It's so straightforward that even a 42-year-old like me can navigate it! This platform is for current school owners and those aspiring to open their own online trade school. Here, everyone can share victories, secrets, tips, and best practices. My aim is to grow this community to about 30 school owners, ensuring I can provide each member with the value and support they need for success. Every school owner shares my passion for impacting lives in our community through skill trade courses. We all believe that college is not the only option and that our students can achieve a better ROI and career path. Stay tuned, as I will share their inspiring case studies in the upcoming weeks.

It's Never Too Late to Start Something New

I'm 42, and in the past four months, I've been blessed to start numerous passion projects. I invested in a writing course to share my story and journey here (how am I doing?). I launched this newsletter to spread awareness about the WIOA grant. I began a coaching program that enables anyone to open an online trade school from their home, and that led to the creation of the trade school community on Skool. If you're reading this and wondering if it's too late for you, stop right there. It's not. Some of us, like me, just took the scenic route to get where we are. There's no perfect time to start something new, so just start.

- Meet NR - He’s launching an online trade school in Tennessee. Already the owner of a successful dumpster rental business, NR is excited about making a difference in his community by providing more trade options.

- Meet DC - She’s opening an IT trade school in Chicago. A successful Data Engineer who took IT courses herself, DC is passionate about getting more women into tech and raising awareness about trade schools as a viable option.

- Meet Another DC - He's doing what I’m doing in Texas, but far enough away that we won't step on each other's toes. A successful broker in various areas, DC is eager to help the younger generation get into much-needed trades.
