2026 Goals Series — Part 2

We reached 2100 subs - so blessed to share this journey with you all. Thank you.

Why Connecting With Mike Rowe Is One of My 2026 Goals

Last week, I shared my first 2026 goal: acquiring and scaling VA-approved schools.

This week is a goal that might sound unusual at first, but it’s very intentional.

Goal #2 for 2026

Build a real connection with Mike Rowe.

Not a selfie.
Not a DM.
A real conversation.

Why Mike Rowe?

Because for years, he’s been saying what many of us see every day:
• College isn’t the only path
• Skilled trades matter
• Work ethic still wins

He has credibility with parents, employers, policymakers, veterans, and blue-collar America without being political or gimmicky.

That matters.

This won’t be easy, but I’m up for the challenge.

I’m not trying to borrow an audience or chase attention.

I want alignment.

If trade schools and workforce education are going to scale the right way, we need voices that:
• Care about outcomes
• Respect skilled labor
• Aren’t selling hype

Mike Rowe represents that better than almost anyone.

How I Plan to Make This Happen

This isn’t wishful thinking — it’s earned access.
• Build schools with real outcomes
• Share results publicly and honestly
• Leverage warm introductions through podcasts, nonprofits, and workforce circles
• Bring value to the conversation — data, insights, and real stories

I don’t need an endorsement.
I want dialogue.

What Success Looks Like

By the end of 2026:
• A conversation has happened
• Ideas have been exchanged
• Collaboration is possible, even if small

That’s it.

Accountability Ask

If you never hear me talk about:
• Trade advocacy
• Outcomes
• Workforce education beyond “business growth.”

Ask me what happened to this goal.

Next week, I’ll share the third goal — the one that scares me the most.
