2026 Goals Series — Part 1

My Commitment to Acquire and Scale Two VA-Approved Schools

I want to do something different heading into 2026.

Instead of vague goals or “big plans,” I’m putting my three main goals out in public and I’m asking you to hold me accountable.

This is Part 1 of a 3-part series where I’ll break down:


• What I’m committing to
• Why it matters
• Exactly how I plan to do it

Goal #1 for 2026

Acquire two schools that already offer VA funding and scale them responsibly.

Not to start from scratch.
Not “apply someday.”
Acquire schools that are already VA-approved and in good standing.

Why VA-Approved Schools?

Veteran education matters. And beyond that, VA-approved schools tend to have three things most schools struggle with:

  1. Students who are motivated and committed

  2. Stable, non-volatile funding

  3. Long-term defensibility because approval is hard to get and maintain

This isn’t about chasing fast money.
It’s about building durable schools that serve veterans well and last.

What I’m Looking For

I’m intentionally targeting schools that:
• Are already VA-approved and compliant
• Have decent outcomes but stalled growth
• Are owned by operators who are burned out or stuck
• Can expand online or hybrid without risking compliance

I don’t want hype.
I want boring, well-run, outcome-driven schools.

How I Plan to Do This in 2026

Here’s the actual plan:
• First half of 2026: Identify 5–7 serious acquisition targets
• Vet compliance, funding history, and financials
• Speak with VA and workforce contacts before closing
• Close on 1–2 schools by late 2026
• Focus first on stabilization, then scale delivery and partnerships

No shortcuts. No games.

Accountability Ask

If I don’t talk about:
• Active deal conversations by mid-2026
• At least one acquired VA-approved school by the end of 2026

You have permission to call me out.
